On the left side of the road you see the Albert Heijn distribution center. Albert Heijn is the largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands.
Founded in Oostzaan in 1887, not far away from this spot.
On the right you see the North Sea Canal with the industrial area Westpoort of Amsterdam in the background.
I pass this road and dike quite often. In the dark I always get attractive by these boat sings and lights. For a long time I wanted to make this photo. It feels not very attractive to be here in the evening alone in the dark.
Then on a rainy Saturday evening I took my moment to visit it.
